I am currently studying in the UK as an Illustration student and I enjoy spending my time working on traditional drawings with fine liners, or painting in ink, although I am well versed in using software such as Photoshop, Illustrator and indesign. I sometimes blend the two together, which I believe can make my art look really interesting. When working on my own work my Ideas for my drawings aren't usually pre-planned, I'd much rather improvise as it keeps me interested in what I'm working on. However if I am working for somebody or working on a project I make sure to research into the subject matter and plan extensively to get the best possible outcome i can achieve. I usually like to work in a monochromatic format but I do enjoy implementing a few dashes of colour into my work to keep it fresh. I love to capture facial expressions on characters i create as I feel that expression can relay so much information and story behind the character. I would say that my art style is dark and warped as i like to take some of the most innocent things and twist and contort them into a more sinister representation, which may be due to my fascination on the darker side of life.
